Charles River Alleycats desperately needs your help with foster and adoption. We are looking for people to open their hearts and homes and help us foster these wonderful cats. We especially need help with the black cats because it is very difficult to find homes for them!
Gia: A very friendly abandoned one year old all black female who was brought in by a volunteer. Gia is a sweet, lovable kitty who needs a chance to shine.
Bailey: A former stray cat that showed up at a nice woman’s house for a little bit to eat every day. She had one litter and became pregnant again. She had 4 black kittens and embraced 3 orphaned kittens; raising all 7 wonderfully. During her foster stay, Bailey showed her true affectionate and friendly side and became a favorite with the volunteers. She now needs a home of her own to bask in the sun and show you her love.
Chiara and Dani: Two of Bailey's all black kittens. They are now 10 weeks old – super friendly, fun-loving and all round great kittens. They need a home together forever.
These kitties will require more patience and understanding as they were born to feral mothers and were trapped at approximately 7-8 weeks of age. They have been in foster care overcoming their fear of humans and learning to trust us. Each kitten has so much to give, but just needs a loving family in order to thrive. They need plenty of one-on-one time to fully flourish.
Holly and Lilly: Two beautiful tabby/tiger mixes. They are 10-11 weeks old and were rescued from a dangerous environment. They are seeking someone to love them and give them extra holding and cuddling.
Ginger (and Maya): Ginger is a sibling to Holly and Lilly and is the most shy of all of them. She has a very hard time coming out and being at ease. She needs a lot of time to trust that you will love her back. Maya is a very friendly black oriental mix. She brings out the best in Ginger and we would really like to place them as a pair.
We would love to hear from anyone who would like to help – foster, foster to adopt, or adopt any of these kitties. Please help us find forever homes for them and care for them while they wait. Foster homes are provided with food and litter for the cats/kittens' care. Also we provide veterinary care for all our cats.
Please consider helping – it will make a big difference in these cats/kittens' lives! Thank you!
